Cardio

  • Active Rhythm (60 min) Fun choreography containing jazz, hip-hop & dance moves geared to both beginners & advanced. AL
  • Cardio Kick Boxing (60 min) A heart pounding, muscle pumping, fat burning, punching, kicking time. IA
  • Cardio Caliente (60 min) Sizzle and shake in this HOT cardio experience! AL
  • Ripped Ride (60 min) A full body workout, takes your ride to a new level by incorporating light weights to maximize caloric burn. AL

Fusion (Cardio/Strength)

  • Advanced Training (60 min) This high energy class incorporates cardio & strength training. Includes sports conditioning exercises, core board & calisthenics. IA
  • Ballet Sculpt (60 min) A sculpting class built on the principals of ballet. Use the Body Bar to achieve strength and stability while focusing on posture and balance. AL
  • B.L.T. (60 min) Plyometric progressions, cardio and intense butt, leg & tummy intervals. AL
  • BOSU Blast! (60 min) Balance, stability, core, cardio, toning... You name it, this class works it! BOSU training targets the whole body, works the core and leaves you feeling great. Workout hard while having a BLAST! (AL)
  • Boxing Skills & Drills (45 min) A challenging athletic workout utilizing combination punching with heavy bags. BYO gloves. AL
  • Cardio Core (60 min) High intensity interval training at its best with a focus on core strength. IA
  • Core & More (60 min) A total body strength class using the stability ball for core results. AL
  • Insanity (60 min) a body weight program designed for the participants to push the intense moves until they have Maxed out! A modifier is available for all moves. (IA)
  • Interval Training (60 min) Full body work-out concentrating on cardiovascular, muscle strength, endurance and flexibility, utilizing different exercise equipment. AL
  • Hard Drive (60 min) Same great class as interval training but geared toward the intermediate/advanced athlete IA
  • Lebarre (60 min) LeBARRE combines Balance, Agility, Resistance, working Recovery and Eloquence. No muscle will go untouched in the deceptively challenging, full-body workout! AL
  • Senior Strength (30 min) A safe and effective strength class specifically designed to meet the needs of our actively aging population. AL
  • Shake & Shape (60 min) A gentle dance class which incorporates elements of strength and balance. AL

Mind/Body and Flexibility

  • Ashtanga Yoga (90 min) This flowing, set, sequence of postures utilizes ujjayi breath and bandhas (energy locks) to increases muscular strength, flexibility, concentration.
  • Basic Yoga (90 min) Intro to the basics of varying forms of yoga and meditation. Suitable for beginners-warm not hot. (May use light weights.)
  • Candlelight Yoga (90 min) Practice is influenced by body prayers, the holding of meditative postures & breath work.
  • Chair Yoga (60 min) Take full advantage of yogas amazing fitness and health potential without the mat. Improves balance with the use of light weights, as well as stimulating circulation.
  • Early Bird Yoga (60 min) Vinyasa style format.
  • Flexibility (30 min) A relaxing class designed to stretch all of the major muscles.
  • Flow Yoga (90 min) Feel the strength and fluidity as you strengthen and lengthen your muscles while working on your flexibility, through a relaxing & challenging workout.
  • Roll & Release (30 min) Basic roller technique incorporating Pilates stabilization and active muscle release.
  • Gentle Yoga (60 min) A blissful hour of mind/body yoga with the primary focus on relaxing the mind. Traditional yoga asanas blended with meditative breathing.
  • Hatha Yoga (90 min)A traditional, less intense yoga class.
  • Kripalu Yoga (90 min) Meditative style yoga with emphasis on proper breath and alignment & the wisdom of the body.
  • Pilates Based Mat (60 min) A series of mat exercises that improve strength, breathing, flexibility and balance. Creates a long and lean body while keeping your powerhouse strong.
  • Restorative Yoga (90 min) Meditative style yoga with emphasis on breath, alignment and movement.
  • Sunrise Yoga (90 min) This gentle, yet powerful, class is a great start to your day. Begins slowly with mat work to wake the body. Progressing to Sun salutations that warm the body. Class ends with a deep relaxation.
  • Tai Chi Easy (60 min) The focus of Tai Chi Easy is the cultivation of healthy longevity and inner tranquility. The practice is very gentle and adaptable to all physical/psychological challenges
  • Vinyasa Yoga (75 or 90 min) a flowing form of hatha yoga and ashtanga style, linking postures together with breath, focus and inward attention.
YOGA LEVELS
  • Level 1: New to Yoga? This non-intimidating class is performed at a slower pace to introduce yoga terminology, postures and breath awareness. Experienced practitioners may use this class to revisit the basics.
  • Level 1/2: Ready to take the next step on advancing your practice. Slightly more advanced poses will be introduced in a flowing sequence.
  • Level 2: Challenge yourself with more advance poses in this intermediate level class.
  • Level 2/3: Designed for intermediate/advanced practitioners. This class includes challenging poses and previous experience is required of all students.
  • Level 3: Designed for the advanced practitioner and a high level of fitness.

Muscle/Conditioning

  • 20/20/20 (60 min) High Intensity, Concentrated Workout! 20 minutes Lower Body, 20 minutes Upper Body, 20 CoreWork. IA
  • Awesome Abs (30 m in) A concentrated workout specifically designed to strengthen and tone the abdominal and lower back muscles. AL
  • Below the Belt (30 min) An intense muscle conditioning workout targeting the glutes & legs. AL
  • BODY PUMP (60 min) The original barbell class to music, no step, no dancing. Pure strength training, real results, real fast. AL
  • Define & Refine (45 or 60 min) Utilize a variety of weights, bands, body bars and other tools in our body shop to help you define and refine. AL
  • H.E.A.T A blend of athletic training with strength & endurance conditioning utilizing TRX, Kettlebells, medicine balls & more. This bootcamp/circuit style class will challenge the fitness enthusiast! IA
  • Medicine Ball (60 min) A functional athletic strength workout utilizing the medicine ball and plyometric progressions. IA
  • Quick Crunch (15 min) Work those abs! 15 minutes of crunches. AL

Water Classes

  • Aqua Challenge (60 min) This class will utilize both deep and shallow water. It will challenge you with strength and cardio drills. AL
  • Aqua Tai Chi (60 min) The gentleness of the water combined with the fluid and graceful movement of Tai Chi. AL
  • Aqua Tabata (60 min) This class follows the principles of Tabata in the water. The 4 minute intervals consist of 20 seconds of intense work with a 10 second recovery. AL
  • H2OBICS (60 min) Experience this challenging program designed to provide a vigorous cardiovascular workout with the benefits of buoyancy & resistance. AL
  • Maximum Effort (45 min) An athletic workout in the deep water with a flotation belt. Includes intervals of running, walking cycling and sprinting. Great workout and no impact! IA
  • Water Running (45 min) & PLUS (60 min) Water is a unique medium for improving your cardiovascular efficiency, toning your muscles & increasing your flexibility. AL

WATER CLASS RULES: During water classes, at least 2 lanes are available for lap swim. Additional lap lanes will be added for lap swimming when there are less than 18 participants. Lane allocation will be determined 10 minutes after the start time of each class using this guideline:

  • 3 lanes available: Up to 17 participants (Up to 15 in Aqua Tai Chi)
  • 4 lanes available: Up to 9 participants

Class Etiquette

  • Be considerate of other Members exercise space
  • Keep conversation to a minimum
  • Cell phone use is prohibited
  • Classes with 10 or less participants are subject to change
  • Appropriate athletic-wear is required
  • Gym bags and purses should be stored in the locker rooms
  • For your safety, athletic shoes only in the studios with the exception of Mind and Body classes
  • No food in the studios at any time
  • Junior Members ages 15 and up may participate in Group Ex classes
  • You must be accompanied by an instructor or trainer when exercising in any of the studios
  • Please check class schedule to see which classes require a sign up
  • For safety reasons, Members will not be permitted to enter a class already in progress

Online Signup

  • Online sign up for Indoor Cycle classes 24 hours prior to start time of class. Confirmation e-mail is received.
  • Members must arrive to class at least 5 minutes prior to claim their reserved bike. When class is ready to begin, unclaimed bikes will be given away to any walk ins.
  • All cancellations must be made online at least 60 minutes prior to start of class.
  • Members may use the iPad in the fitness room to register for class if they wish. Sign-ups at the desk may occur 15 minutes prior to class if space available.

Cardio

  • Cardio Box (AL) Punch and weave to a fit body. This non-contact cardio boxing class will torch calories and end with an intense hit to the core!
  • Champion boxing (AL) Jump, punch and lift to a fit body as you learn the ropes from Golden Gloves boxing champion Lapell Crank, in this boxing inspired workout.
  • Kick 30 (AL) A blast of cardio in a 30 minute kickboxing class. This choreographed sweat-inducing hi/low workout offers intervals of upper and lower body conditioning to heart pumping, and fun music.
  • Zumba (AL) A fusion of Latin and international rhythms with easy to follow moves for a one of a kind workout! A dance class that is a high calorie burning and body energizing experience. Benefits: cardiovascular, muscular
  • ZumbaTone (AL) Combines targeted body-sculpting exercises and high-energy cardio work with Latin-infused Zumba moves. Learn how to use light weights to tone their arms, abs, glutes and thighs.

Cardio/Strength

  • Balance (AL) Life is all about balance. This new class, designed by Meredith Johnson, is a well-rounded workout that brings together core, cardio and strength. To engage all levels of fitness, this class is taught at a moderate pace.
  • Cardio Sculpt (AL) Total body conditioning utilizes body bars and dumbbells to increase strength & improve definition. Benefits: Cardiovascular & muscular strength catering to active aging.
  • Hard Drive (IA) Total body workout for both muscular strength and endurance. Continuous movement that keeps the heart rate up for a sweat drenched sculpting session. Benefits: Cardiovascular and muscular strength
  • Heat (ADV) Heat up your workout with this High Energy Athletic Training workout. This intense cardio/strength interval class utilizing kettle bells, barbells, dumbbells and other resistance props is designed for the advanced exerciser.
  • HIIT 45 (I/A) It is time to HIIT the Gym! Scientific studies have proven that short intense bouts of exercise followed by short bouts of recovery produces amazing results. 45 minutes is all you need to burn fat and to transform your body.
  • Senior Fit (AI) A safe and effective cardio and strength class specifically designed to meet the needs of our mature exerciser
  • Step Interval (IA) A return to a classic workout that alternates between intervals of step choreography and resistance training.
  • Strength/Intervals (IA) Total body workout!! Mix of strengthening exercises with group cardio intervals. Benefits: Cardio and Strength components

Indoor Cycling

  • The Ride (AL) Our exhilarating cycling program! 45 minutes Benefits: cardiovascular
  • The Ride Plus (AL) Spend a little more time in the saddle and burn some extra calories 60 minutes.
  • Tri-Ride (IA) Bring out the inner triathlete with this cycling based ride. 45 minutes. Benefits: cardiovascular
  • TBR Cycle (AL) Full body workout on the bike! Sculpt, sweat and burn with light weights, push ups and core work. TBR 60 means 15 extra minutes! Benefits: cardiovascular

Pilates/Barre

  • Dancebarre (AL) Bring the world of dance into your BARRE class. This flowing workout will combine essences of cardio dance, balance, agility and resistance.
  • Flex core (AL) Grow longer and stronger with this class that blends Yoga, Pilates, LeBarre and Stretching. This fusion class brings the best of each discipline to help you achieve your goals. Benefits: Core, muscular endurance and flexibility.
  • Lebarreathletic (IA) Combining Strength and Cardio moves using the Lebert BARRE System is a complete body workout! (AL)
  • Floorbarre (AL) Bring your core workout to the next level with this challenging mix of Pilates, ballet, yoga and barre techniques.
  • Hotbarre (AL) Turn up the heat for your BARRE workout. This ballet and Pilates inspired workout performed in a warm 90 degree room will bring on the sweat.
  • Pilates Mat (AL) An internationally known fitness system created by Joseph Pilates focusing on core stability, balance and flexibility.
  • Pilatesbarre (AL) By fusing the principles of Pilates, isometrics, barre work and stretching TACs signature class will sculpt your legs, lift your seat, create sexy and defined shoulders and rock hard abs. Benefits: Core, muscular toning and flexibility.
  • PilatesPLUS Bring your core training to the next level. This Pilates class fused with a touch of ballet and yoga, uses multiple props to help tone the entire body.
  • Powerbarre (IA) Our signature class takes it up a notch! Various props including the innovative Lebert Equalizer will be combined with intense core exercises and BARRE work. Benefits: Core, muscular, toning and flexibility.

Strength

  • Dynamic Core (AL) Build lean muscle, improve bone density and increase flexibility with this total body workout. This class is designed for anyone at any age or fitness level with a desire to improve strength, mobility and fitness for everyday life.
  • Redefine (AL) A Total Body workout using various resistance props to help you achieve that desired sculpted figure. Benefits: muscular strength & endurance
  • Strength! (AL) Time to pump up the power with intervals of body weight, dumbbell and barbell exercise! This resistance training class will torch calories and help you become leaner and stronger.
  • Strength 45 (AL) This challenging and effective workout utilizes various resistance props to push you to your max. A pure strength workout packed into 45 minutes of high energy!

Water

  • Aqua Barre (AL) Bring your barre workout to the pool and use the water as your resistance.
  • Aqua Circuit (AL) Bring your Cardio, Core and Strength training into the pool. This interval workout challenges the body without working up a sweat and stressing the joints.
  • Aqua Zumba (AL) This latin-inspired class will have you joyfully moving and grooving to great music without stressing the joints.
  • H2OBICS (AL) Specially designed resistance props and the water give an intense workout thats easy on the joints.
  • Water Running (AL) This ultimate cross training activity enhances running and swimming speed, strengthens every body part and assists in injury recovery.

Mind/Body

  • Ashtanga: A dynamic and energetic form of yoga that uses the breath to flow from one posture to the next.
  • Gentle Flow: Revisit the basic principles and poses of yoga. This class will mindfully and slowly move you through simple postures. This class is open to all levels from the beginner to the advanced practitioner.
  • Gentle Flow/Meditation: A gentle flow class that includes a calming and soothing meditation segment.
  • Intro to Yoga: For the true beginner yogi. This class will be the start of your yoga journey as you learn basic and simple poses, the importance of breath and proper alignment and commonly used terminology.
  • Kripalu: A 3-stage yoga that emphasizes mind/body awareness through postures, pranayama (breathwork) and meditation in a compassionate environment.
  • Kundalini: Develop strength, awareness, character and consciousness in this physical, mental and spiritual discipline. Benefits: Flexibility, stress release and balance.
  • Master Yoga: A class designed for the Advanced Practitioner where you will explore deeper and more challenging postures such as arm balances and inversions. Class will be taught at the highest level.
  • Tai Chi: Tai Chi is the ancient Chinese art of slow graceful body movements and meditative exercises Tai Chi promotes the bodys own natural healing and restorative abilities.
  • Power Vinyasa: Put some power into your yoga. This 90 minute intermediate/advanced Vinyasa class will challenge you to bring your practice to the next level.
  • Pure Stretch (AL) Enhance your life & exercise routine by improving an important fitness component-flexibility. Benefits: Flexibility 45 min
  • Restorative: This gentle approach to yoga will help you experience the sense of renewed energy and peace. Blankets, blocks and straps will help you ease into comfortable yoga positions.
  • Vinyasa: A class that incorporates traditional poses with breath that flows seamlessly from beginning to end. De-stress while enhancing flexibility and calming your mind.
YOGA LEVELS
