Take It Off Testimonial

When I heard that The Atlantic Club was looking for five volunteers to participate in the Take It Off Challenge, I knew I was perfect for the job. When I initially signed up, I was about 5th on the list so to my surprise when I showed up on October 29th and saw hundreds of willing volunteers. I knew my chances of being selected as one of the lucky 5 had become very slim.
After listening to Casey Conrad and other Atlantic Club staff members talk about the different components of the program, it got me thinking about all the reasons why I wanted to lose the weight. The first and foremost was I wanted to get off the blood pressure medication I was taking. I was very borderline when I initially went on it but I know every 10 pounds of weight reinforced the doctor’s case for being on it. I also wanted to gain back some of the confidence I had lost over the years. I did not like the person I saw in the mirror anymore. I know that it was affecting every part of my life, from energy level, sleeping patterns, and emotions. The third reason was for my children. I want to be the best role model for them. I have twins. My daughter does not currently have weight issues but her twin brother is struggling. I wanted to be a positive role model for him by teaching him the right way to eat, exercise and to live.
I decided that night to buy the Ultimate Weight Loss Package. I figured if I purchased it myself, I would take ownership of my success!
I am on week five and I have had tremendous success. I have currently lost 17 pounds, 10+ inches and am so close to coming off my blood pressure medication. I feel fantastic! The key for me has been planning my meals, taking them with me if I am on the go and eating my protein bars when I need that sweet.
I still remember a friend saying to me that she eats to live, not lives to eat. I play that in my head daily. I am truly eating foods not to fuel my body rather than eating to fill an emotional need.
