In 2008, The Atlantic Club's Clubs for the Cure was the largest team in the history of The Avon Walk in NYC and provided the largest financial contribution generated by individual efforts of our team’s members.
In 2008, our goal is to exceed $1,000,000. To aid each team member, we will be providing a week by week program made up of a Fitness and Walking program which will ensure successfully completion at whatever mileage level each participant wants to achieve. The Atlantic Club will host special fun events, team socials, lectures and workshops right up to the event day, October 4 & 5, 2008. Our staff, along with The Avon Foundation, will also work with each registrant, assisting and instructing them on how to successfully raise the $1,800 Avon requirement to walk the event.
